I do not know the name of this, nor am I sure if it even has one. I simply named her thus because it's what I thought when I first saw it. c;
I changed nothing of the original, except for maybe the pattern in her skirt or something silly like that.


Dear Mr. Grimly has always been a wonderful artist to look up to, and when I found this drawing of his I thought, What would be a better piece to practice with?
I decided that I needed to touch up on my own style and try to differentiate myself from other artists of similar taste. Practicing on other artists' works, I thought, was a good way to do so, because I'd know what to do and what not to do so that I'd be different from them. I picked up some drawing techniques, but for the most part I'm challenging myself to find my own, more distinguished style. I think that's important if I ever want to call myself an "artist" in its most literal sense.
